Vogue Interiors announced that Sheila Corasaniti, IDS has been selected to create the interior design for Stock Signature Homes’ furnished Marigold model at the Isles of Collier Preserve, a 2,400-acre development by Minto Communities bordered on the south by Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, the north by Naples Botanical Garden, and the west by Dollar Bay. More than half of the 2,400 acres is dedicated to natural habitat and preserve areas connected by a network of biking paths and recreational trails with exercise stations and nature observation areas as well as blueways for kayaking. The community is just four miles east of downtown Naples on U.S. 41/Tamiami Trail East. The Marigold model is expected to be completed by late November.

The Marigold floor plan includes 3,578 square feet under air plus an expansive covered lanai measuring 1,062 square feet. The plan features a spacious great room with an optional built-in entertainment center, a large gourmet island kitchen and breakfast area, a formal dining room, four bedrooms or three bedrooms plus an optional bonus room, a study, four-and- a-half baths, an outdoor living area with an optional fireplace, optional summer kitchen, a pool and spa, and a three-car garage. Pocketing sliders open the great room to the outdoor living area.

Corasaniti’s inspiration for the Marigold model was sparked by an unusual piece of jewelry made with rich dark turquoise stones and bold cocoa colored beads. She will base her color palette on this fresh and exotic combination and set it against a background of soft pale taupe to create a home that combines the elements of comfortable living with a touch of elegance. Flooring throughout the main living areas will be 9-inch by 36-inch pale gray and taupe tile laid in a staggered pattern to resemble a wood planked floor. The same tone of soft pale taupe will be used on the walls of the main living areas with a slightly deeper hue in the ceiling trays. The combination will create a quiet backdrop for the rich jewel-toned accent colors of deep turquoise, mocha, creamy ivory and soft aqua.

The Marigold’s welcoming entry foyer walls will be clad in a dramatic and glittering turquoise mica wall covering to create a show-stopping first impression. One entry wall will have a horizontal installation of stacked diamond shaped mirrors reflecting the opposite wall where a colorful large contemporary artwork will be hung. The foyer opens onto a long gallery that features a series of tray ceiling details. The flooring will echo the ceiling design with matching highly polished insets of Bianca Carrara stone running the entire length of the gallery.

In the generously sized great room, the feature wall will showcase a custom built-in with decorative dry wall columns flanking a mocha console floating in the center. Above the console, the television will be mounted on a wall covered in birch wood cork with a subtle silver metallic accent. A floor to ceiling niche to the right of the built-in will display a dramatic original sculpture and to the left will be a framed collection of contemporary art. The oversized and comfortable off-white linen sofa will have two accent pillows done in a deep turquoise and mocha leaf pattern and one accent pillow in an unusual metallic reptile pattern. Two club chairs in a soft light taupe chenille fabric will also have turquoise and mocha accent pillows in a geometric pattern. The large square cocktail table will have an antiqued mirrored finish and will sit on a striking dark turquoise shag area rug. The focal point of the great room will be a dramatic six-foot- wide bronze chandelier fashioned in the shape of a floating tree branch.

In the adjacent dining room, the walls will be a slightly darker taupe to create a more intimate dining experience. The niche wall on the right will feature a built-in for storage and a floating credenza in taupe with a bold decorative mirror hung above it. The dining table will be in a dark taupe wood finish and will seat eight. Custom designed dining chairs will feature the creative use of horizontal color blocking by having one third of the chair upholstered in off-white and two thirds of the chair in a deep dark turquoise.

The double-doored study will have walls in the same lighter shade of taupe as the great room. The large window will be incorporated into a custom built-in with two taupe finished bookcases and an upholstered window seat with accent pillows. A floating desk will be finished in an innovative lacquered hide treatment with pale grays and darker areas of mocha. The high-backed desk chair will be upholstered in a contemporary paisley fabric and two suede club chairs will flank a textured metal drum table.

A large kitchen island and all perimeter cabinetry will be finished in a pale off-white Alabaster tone. The granite countertops will be a lively mix of gray and taupe with a recurring hint of turquoise. The backsplash will be a pale putty glass tile in a high gloss.

Pocketing sliders will open from the great room to the outdoor entertaining area where a full outdoor kitchen, seating area, and dining area will flow comfortably under a covered lanai. The conversation area will feature two outdoor sofas that will face one another and two club chairs that will face the media wall. Grounding this area will be a cocktail table in the shape of a river rock. The large outdoor kitchen will have a floating island with four counter height stools. Graphite gray shaker style cabinetry will be topped with an Alaska white granite that features flecks of charcoal, grays and mocha. On the grill wall, the cabinetry and countertops will be in the same finishes and all will have stainless steel accents.

The walls in the master bedroom will be done in a soft pale taupe with darker taupe in the ceiling tray. A brushed nickel canopy bed will have a custom white linen upholstered headboard and be flanked by two nightstands in an espresso finish with a large silver medallion on the front. At the foot of the bed will be an off-white upholstered bench with nickel nail heads. All bed linens will be done in a luxurious dark turquoise fabric and will offer accents of soft light taupe and silver tones. The custom window treatments will have a metallic beaded band along the top of the light taupe fabric. A full dresser will be in the same espresso finish as the nightstands and will sit next to a dark turquoise wing chair by the window.

The flooring in the master bath will transition into a matte off-white Bianca Carrara marble tile that will extend onto the floor of the shower. The walls of the shower will be in a highly polished version of the same marble. The serene bath will have a subtle metallic wallcovering, off white cabinetry and Perla Bianca countertops. The free-standing spa tub will sit below a glittering chandelier.

Vogue Interiors announced award-winning designer Leslie Gebert, Allied Member, ASID has completed the design and execution of a coastal styled interior for a Carrara condominium at the Talis Park community in North Naples. At build-out, the Carrara neighborhood will feature 90 penthouse-style condominiums in 15 midrise buildings overlooking Talis Park's Greg Norman- Pete Dye designed golf course. Each building includes three floors over parking with two residences per floor. A completed private hospitality area for Carrara residents includes a pool, a covered gathering area, restrooms, and grills.

Priced from the mid-$700s, Carrara offers the simplicity of maintenance-free condominium living along with the luxurious ambiance one would expect in Talis Park. Each residence includes a private elevator lobby, a spacious great room, a gourmet island kitchen, an "on the view" owner’s suite, two guest ensuites, a library/media room, a powder bath, and secured ground level parking. The luxury penthouse-style residences offer more than 2,900 square feet of air conditioned living space and feature wraparound loggias.

Gebert has created and fully realized an airy coastal-inspired design for the light-filled Carrara residence. With a restful palette featuring sandy ivory as a background color, and soft dove grey and robin’s egg blue as accents, the casually contemporary residence offers amazing long views of the Talis Park golf course from the great room and the owners’ suite. Finishes have all been designed to be both low-maintenance and luxurious at the same time. Throughout the main living area, beach sand colored wood-plank porcelain tile creates a breezy flow from the private elevator entrance straight through to the open loggias.

The elevator foyer provides an initial hint of the subtle coastal design theme with a 36-inch high base of semi-gloss white wainscoting topped with dove grey hand-pleated wallpaper. Two brushed satin nickel sconces with white shades glow on either side of the double door entry that provides the first look into the great room and the views from the loggias. In the main foyer, a decorative floor design echoes the intricate shape of the custom pop up ceiling details above. A four-inch band of sand colored mosaic tile is set in a rectangular shape and serves as a border for the inset wood-plank porcelain.

In the expansive great room, a plush oversized sectional with dove grey leather cushions piped in cream leather showcases multiple throw pillows covered in varied clear shades of blue. A large square distressed driftwood grey cocktail table sits in front of the sectional and the entire seating area is anchored by a soft area rug in an abstract pattern of pale robin’s egg blue, crisp navy, and cream. A clean-lined chrome console table with a silvered glass top sits behind the sectional and faces the kitchen. At the far end of the long great room, two nubby textured sand linen swivel chairs are positioned to take advantage of the exceptional open views. The main entertainment wall features a streamlined media cabinet done in a gray wash finish with cream sides and bold decorative chrome hardware. Sheer and airy ivory window treatments with a subtle silver metallic thread dress the 90-degree pocketing sliders that open to the loggia and the view of the golf course.

The kitchen layout is also oriented toward the remarkably open view. With all the kitchen cabinetry in a painted off-white finish, the warm brown granite used on the countertops and the bar provides an interesting contrast. The kitchen backsplash is done in a soft cream rectangular subway tile. The barstools at the kitchen counter are upholstered in a rich marine blue textured tweed and the same fabric appears on the curved banquette seating that dramatically wraps the dining area and faces the kitchen. The banquette surrounds a 72-inch round glass table that can seat eight people. Additional wood framed dining chairs are upholstered in the same marine blue and join the banquette to provide cozy dining. Custom off-white plantation shutters provide both light and privacy for the three windows behind the table. Adjacent to the dining area, the wet bar features the same off-white cabinetry used in the kitchen, the backsplash is a shimmering neutral glass tile, and the countertops surrounding the sink above the wine cooler are off-white quartz. The lighted upper cabinetry has glass fronts for display and storage.

Across from the powder room in the entry, the double-doored library/media room opens to an intimate private loggia. The flooring in the room is the same wood plank tile used in the living area, but the color palette changes to soft blue walls with crisp white trim. A textured light cream shag rug anchors the taupe linen sleeper sofa and the floating 30-inch by 60-inch working desk is finished in reclaimed driftwood. A clean-lined tan linen chair sits at the desk. A large original painting over the sofa bed deftly depicts a sea bird painted in shades of blue and gray. Those same colors echo the palette of navy, taupe, cream and light blue seen in the accent pillows on the sofa bed.

The owners’ suite colors are comprised of cool ivories, rich creams and light blues accented by a liberal touch of warm camel tones. The king-size bed features four dramatic high tester bedposts and is dressed in off-white bedding done in a cream linen fabric that has a camel braid of natural raffia for texture. A cream, blue and camel oriental linen print appears on the decorative bed pillows. A soft cream textured area rug softens the floor under the bed. The transitional nightstands have a pale cream finish that matches the finish on the front of a long dresser with driftwood sides. A white-framed club chair is upholstered in camel linen and sits next to the sliding doors leading to the loggia.

The flooring in the master bath changes to a large light sand porcelain tile that wraps the tub surround and is used throughout the shower where it includes an accent of neutral Listello tile. All the master bath cabinetry has a soft cream finish and the counters are topped with a beachy sand granite. The walls in the bath are papered in a sky blue wallpaper that features a silver metallic highlight details.

The loggia off the great room has an amazing long view overlooking the golf course. Chaise lounges set on an angle face the course. For outdoor entertaining, the space features a dark espresso rectangular dining table and six dining chairs with tan cushions set on a diagonal in the corner of the loggia to maximize the views. A matching espresso all-weather wicker sectional with tan cushions and blue and cream pillows faces a large wall-mounted television hung above a driftwood media console. The openwork design area rug provides a strong jolt of electric blue to enliven the area.

Vogue Interiors announced that Interior Designer Salvatore Giso, IDS is creating the interior design for the single-family Barbuda model villa residence being built by Gulfshore Homes in the Westlake neighborhood of the West Bay Club community in Estero. Giso’s design will convey a bright, cheerful ambiance with softly elegant visual appeal. The Barbuda’s 3,137 square feet under air open-concept floor plan features a sprawling living space that includes a great room, dining area, and gourmet island kitchen. The plan also includes three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a library/study, and a beautiful outdoor living area with a year-round kitchen, fireplace, pool and spa. The Barbuda furnished model is expected to be completed in June.

Giso’s vision for the Barbuda model is to design a fresh and timeless interior designed that offers a welcoming flow from the grand entry to the expansive outdoor living area. A classic color palette will take its cues directly from surrounding nature with the liberal use of mossy greens, layered creamy tones, and strong accents of light chocolate brown and cloud white. Clean lines and soft textures will be the basis of this light-filled home’s design. Subdued light cream porcelain tile flooring will be used throughout the generously sized home to create continuity and serene elegance.

Impressive double entry doors from the portico will open to a wide gallery hallway that will provide an immediate sense of space, light, and welcome while introducing the home’s signature soft color palette. The foyer/gallery will feature a niche housing a unique white leather wrapped console. This prominent statement piece will be embossed with a subtle Greek key motif and will be trimmed with a dark espresso-brown wood. A large vibrant custom art piece will be placed above the console in the lighted niche. Across from the niche, the discreet powder room will be wallpapered in a soft cream textured grasscloth. In the center of the foyer, a large brilliant crystal orb chandelier, with a singular sparkling faceted crystal suspended from the bottom, will take center stage. Designer Giso will also add a round dark chocolate and mocha custom area rug in the center of the entry to add color, texture and an even more dramatic effect to the space.

Four floor-to-ceiling pocketed slider doors will provide access to the outdoor seating area from the generous great room. In this main entertainment area, the feature wall will include a deep niche wallpapered in warm brown and flax textured grasscloth. The television will be mounted on the niche wall above a transitional iron and glass console. An oversized nubby textured linen sofa will be accented with intricately woven striped pillows in moss green and cream. In another reference to nature, two ivory club chairs across from the sofa will be upholstered in a heavily textured fabric in a pattern reminiscent of growing stems and grass. A pale moss shagreen and metal cocktail table will anchor the great room’s seating area and a custom designed area rug will soften and add color to the grouping. The cream porcelain tile will continue in the great room and dining room and striking dark stained wood ceiling beam architectural details will be featured in both rooms.

In the open dining room, a niche on the end wall will feature a full built-in wet bar and two separate temperature controlled wine storage cabinets. The upper and lower cabinetry for the wet bar will be in a rich chocolate brown and the bar countertops will be a cool creamy quartz. The transitional rectangular dining table will be in a warm deep brown and will be softened by rounded edges. The dining chairs will be upholstered in the same neutral nubby linen as the sofa in the great room and will feature contrasting dark brown wood trim. Both rooms will have an abundance of light provided by the wall of sliders.

In the gourmet kitchen, perimeter cabinets will have an Agreeable Gray painted finish and a counter surfaced in a silver flecked Milky Way Pompeii quartz. The kitchen island will seat four for entertaining and will have a countertop of light toned Cambria quartz. The large island’s base cabinets will be finished in a contrasting deep brown tone. Four upholstered taupe linen barstools trimmed with dark wood will front the island.

Dark chocolate honed wood floors will be introduced in the library where two large niches will be papered in a highly textured brown and black grasscloth. The niches will serve as a dramatic backdrop for floating glass shelves meant to display books and collectibles. A striking custom area rug in zebra patterned stripes of edgy gold, cool gray, cream and taupe will be set beneath an espresso leather-topped desk in the center of the room. The base of the desk will be stainless steel designed in a cross pattern. An impressive high-backed cream linen desk chair will be detailed with oversized chrome nail heads. Two comfortable ivory chenille club chairs with matching ottomans will flank an espresso wood side table across from the desk.

The chic master bedroom will feature a multi-layered palette of tonal creams and muted ivory with strong rich dark brown accents. The dark wood-trimmed bed will be flanked by matching large drum tables with doors for storage. The nine drawer dresser will be in the same rich brown tone finish as the bed. A romantic cream chenille chaise lounge will offer a quiet retreat. Translucent light cream window treatments and richly textured ivory and cream bed linens will continue the serene theme of restful neutral tones. Two sets of wide double doors will open to the outdoor living space from the master bedroom.

In the spacious master bath, the walls will be papered in a reflective silvery moss color with a deeper gray lattice pattern. His and hers vanities will feature cabinetry done in a cream finish and Statuario granite countertops. Matching porcelain tile will be used on the tub deck, floor, and the shower walls. The shower floor design will reinforce the subtle metallic details in the master bath by introducing sparkling silver and white glass chiclet tiles set in a custom geometric pattern.

The large lanai will include a complete summer kitchen for gatherings and entertaining. Dark stained cypress wood cabinetry will be paired with creamy granite countertops. The open weave resin wicker rectangular dining table will have a glass top and seating for eight. The contemporary design of the outdoor fireplace will feature columns reaching from the mantel to the ceiling of the lanai and the hearth-style fireplace will house the TV in a built in niche above the firebox. In the sitting area by the fireplace, two oversized dark resin wicker club chairs and a comfortable sofa will be covered in a warm taupe outdoor fabric and accented with moss green pillows. The outdoor entertainment space will continue to the pool and spa areas where taupe chaise lounges and resin wicker side tables will flank the pool.

Vogue Interiors announced it has been selected to design and execute the interior design for Stock Signature Homes’ furnished Windsor model in the Salara neighborhood at the Esplanade Golf & Country Club of Naples, a community located approximately three miles east of I-75 on Immokalee Road that includes nearly 1,798 acres, 1,000 of which are preserves and wetlands and another 170 of which are devoted to lakes. The Windsor residence now under construction in Salara offers a flowing 4,155 square feet under air floor plan that includes three bedrooms, a fourth bedroom that can be finished to serve as a rec room, four-and-a-half baths, a great room, a study, formal dining room, gourmet island kitchen, a outdoor living area with a fireplace, outdoor kitchen, pool, and a spa, and a four-car garage. The Windsor will showcase an interior by Vogue’s award-winning designer Sheila Corasaniti, IDS.

Inspired by the essential elements of Florida, Corasaniti’s organic design will represent serene tranquility and a connection with nature. Her color palette will be light and soft with muted off-white walls to provide a clean background for fabrics and textures in shades of taupe, buttercream and silver blue to add a sense of the morning sun and gentle water. Metallic accents will add shimmery overtones. The hardwood flooring in the main living areas, study, and master bedroom will be executed in a soft driftwood tone. Distinctive ceiling details will be evident throughout the home.

In the foyer, a niche wall to the right will showcase a fascinating sculpture of organic wavy-edged wood draped over a sheet of glass. On a pedestal six-feet tall, this artful wood creation will have the mysterious look of flowing water. An opening on the left will look into the dining room.

The dining room will feature a wall niche where a pearl white built-in console topped with Calcutta gold marble will provide the foundation for a dramatic piece of art. A live-edge organic dining table with a natural brown finish and brushed nickel legs paired with tall contemporary wing chairs upholstered in white with nail head detailing will command attention. Contemporary, clean-lined white moldings will be applied to the walls for a chic accent.

The foyer and dining room will flow into the great room where the feature wall will be divided into three sections, the central section bumped out and defined by columns for added dimension. Three custom console built-ins will be installed at the base of each section. Finished in a mushroom colored taupe, the central console will feature drawers and open shelving while those on either side will have doors. A television will be wall-mounted over the central console. A lighted shelf above the central console will display accessories. In the background of each section, the wall will be finished in textured silver metallic wallpaper. The left and right sections will be further adorned with tiered light sconces and contemporary applied moldings like those in the dining room. Two handsome sofas in a pale blue velvet will be positioned perpendicular to the television, while two occasional chairs in a heavy beige linen will complete the U-shaped seating area. A cocktail ottoman in a metallic silver polished cotton with acrylic legs will be anchored by an extravagant shag rug in mellow shades of gray-blue, gray, gold, and brown. Carved driftwood cube stools upholstered in soft yellow will enhance the tableau, while pocketing sliders will open the entire space to the covered lanai and pool beyond.

To the right of the foyer, a barn door provides an entry to a study that will feature two built-in bookcases in a beige driftwood finish on either side of a floating metal-framed writing desk with a darker driftwood top. The walls will be covered in a warm taupe grasscloth with silver metallic threads. A spa blue occasional chair will provide guest seating while a chest in a silver hammered finish will add interest. A flat wool rug with a geometric pattern blending all the homes colors of taupes, butters, blues, grays, and white, will cover the floor while large artwork will adorn the walls.

Adjacent to the great room, the kitchen will feature a large pantry and generous counter height island. All cabinetry will be executed in a luxurious pearl white finish complemented by counter surfaces in glacier white for clean, streamlined appeal. Adding dimensional delight, a backsplash fashioned from Carrara marble in a chevron pattern will positively gleam.

In the breakfast nook, with its large semi-circular window offering views onto the outdoor living area, Corasaniti’s plan calls for a circular driftwood table with a silver metallic apron and lovely upholstered chairs in a soft spa blue with driftwood legs.

A hallway from the great room will lead to an exercise room with French doors opening to the covered lanai. The room will be carpeted in a tightly woven style for ease of movement. One wall will be mirrored while the others will be painted a pale blue-gray. A Pilates ballet bar machine will offer multi-discipline exercise opportunities together with a stationary bike and lifting bench with free weights.

Two distinct areas on the lanai will present a comfortable al fresco lifestyle. A fireplace adorned with stacked stone to the ceiling will be the focus for a lounging conversation area. The stacked stone, in a tone that matches the exterior flooring, will feature a 10-inch recessed band of smooth stone one third of the way up for interesting contrast. A curved sectional sofa and a matching easy chair will be arranged with a round cocktail table. A summer kitchen will feature cabinets in a silver birch finish topped with multi-colored granite in blues and browns, and a counter height bar with stools. Nearby, a handsome dining set will accommodate a large group. By the pool with its spa blue waterline tile, chaises lounge recliners will be complemented by a canopied cabana bed.

The serenely beautiful master suite will feature walls in the soft blue tone with a continuation of the driftwood flooring. A fabulous white upholstered sleigh bed with tufted nail head detailing will be adorned with gorgeous taupe linens and pillow accents in contemporary florals, silver metallics, and fur. The dresser and nightstands will be finished in soft white. In the dedicated sitting area, French doors will open to the lanai. Two settees in pale woven linen will face each other across a butter colored ottoman. Chrome end tables and a soft white and taupe rug will complete the sumptuous look.

High gloss porcelain flooring with the look of Carrara marble will set the tone for the sparkling master bath. His and her vanity cabinetry in pale gray will be complemented by subtle Cashmere Carrara quartz counters. Carrara marble will provide a border accent in the gleaming white shower. An elegant free standing tub will float in the middle of the room.

The Windsor will feature three guest bedrooms. The largest, at the rear of the home, will offer a wet bar with a granite backsplash between two storage closets. This room will offer easy access to the lanai.

Vogue Interiors announced that company Principal Debbie DeMaria, ASID, IDS and Interior Designer Salvatore Giso, IDS have completed the interior design for a single-family villa residence built by Gulfshore Homes in the Westlake neighborhood of the West Bay Club community in Estero. DeMaria and Giso’s design combines organic and textural elements to bring a carefree yet sophisticated and softly elegant feeling to the 3,137 square feet under air residence. The floor plan includes a massive living space that combines a great room, dining area, and a spacious island kitchen, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a library/study, and a beautiful outdoor living area with a year-round kitchen, fireplace, pool and spa.

Inspired by the beauty of natural elements, DeMaria and Giso created an ambience that suggests easy elegance and free-flowing organic comfort. The color palette is founded on natural woods with taupes, beiges, and browns accented with fresh white that is featured as the predominant background color. Flooring throughout the living areas is executed in medium-toned raked oak which transitions to a white wide plank hardwood in the master bedroom and tile in the master bathroom.

The grand foyer presents a sense of arrival into a home that combines both elegance and casual charm. In the center of the wood floor, four large 24 x 24-inch marble-look tiles with mosaic inlay create a note of welcome. The foyer leads into a gallery hallway with a niche on each side. On the left, a dry bar features a four-inch profile to the edge of the creamy white porcelain stone counter. This material continues up the wall as a backsplash and offset dark espresso cabinetry. On the right, an architectural furniture piece creates a statement. The espresso-toned wooden base is topped with a black granite top with a three dimensional free-form chrome structure in the center for the look of sculptural metal art.

The powder bath features stacked tile shells in a mother of pearl with a chic linear presentation. A hammered platinum sink sits atop a custom scalloped demilune furniture piece in a silver scraped linen wood tone that blends perfectly with the shelving.

The gallery opens to the heart of the home with its spacious great room, dining room, and kitchen. A framed entertainment wall features a floating shelf in scraped wood with ottomans underneath for additional seating. An 80-inch television is set above the shelf along with two floating shelves that showcase sculptural pieces against a backdrop of chocolate brown mica wallpaper. To the left of the television area, a custom console accommodates the electronic control components for the home. The seating group radiates comfort with inviting textured neutral materials. An off-white sofa in a cream basket weave fabric is paired with two swivel chairs in soft metallic leather. DeMaria and Giso designed a cocktail table that includes a 30-inch goat skin table on casters that can roll along the length of a 64-inch ottoman for added comfort and versatility. Five equally spaced beams, stained in a color slightly darker than the flooring, adorn the length of the ceiling. Sliding glass doors open the living and dining rooms to the outdoor lanai.

The dining room showcases a remarkable table that provided the inspiration for the interior design concept. The table presents the appearance of a section sliced directly from a venerable tree. Its uniquely organic form is enhanced by large natural cracks punctuated by wooden butterfly insets. The table is finished in a dark tone and is 102-inches long, perfect for an informal arrangement of four chairs on each side. The chairs, upholstered in a pearlized white leather, create a lively contrast with the deep wood tones. Functioning as a buffet within a long wall niche, a console in an espresso finish with concave mirrored detailing complements the scene. Above it, an oversized free form mirror adds drama and dimension.

The kitchen features a spacious island where dark cabinetry is topped with weathered Taj Mahal granite. The bar stools are presented in a lighter wood tone used throughout the home. The perimeter cabinetry replicates the lighter wood tone to create contrast with the island. The perimeter cabinetry extends to the ceiling with the highest level designed as lighted display alcoves, each housing lovely sculptures. Along a side wall, a custom built-in that matches the perimeter cabinetry provides additional storage for small appliances as well as counter space in the Taj Mahal granite.

To the left of the foyer, a hallway leads to the study where the medium-toned oak wood flooring continues. The wall treatment is presented in a blend of bamboo and grass cloth while dark espresso cork is displayed in the ceiling coffer from which a striking chandelier is suspended. Two-toned cabinetry is featured on two walls. A sleek open desk extends along the entire length of the wall with floating cabinets above. The other side accommodates the television and ample cabinetry for equipment storage. The built-ins are complemented by a stylish chair, accent table and beautiful area rug.

The lanai offers enticing lake and golf course views. An outdoor kitchen features eye-catching cabinetry in a sandblasted two-toned silver metal with a rain textured inlay. On either side of the grill, leather granite countertops with black and brown striations extend for 20-feet. An informal gathering table and chairs contributes to the enjoyment of hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. A sectional sofa and chairs in a deep seat wicker with textural tweed tone upholstery are gathered around a linear fireplace encased in textural stone in variegated creams and browns. On either side of the fireplace, French doors lead into the master bedroom.

The master bedroom’s white wood floor is adorned with a laser cut cowhide rug. The bed is fully-upholstered in linen and flanked by nightstands in a taupy silver finish. Mirrors over the nightstands reflect the light from the French doors. Elegant white linen draperies with silver star metal studs of varying sizes add breezy charm. Across from the bed, a custom built-in dresser blends the room’s soft tones of natural wood and shimmery metallics and accommodates a 65-inch television and storage drawers.

A hallway from the bedroom displays a tile runner within the wood. Upon entering the master bathroom, the flooring transitions to the 24 x 24-inch marble-look tile in taupe tones with a matte finish that continues into the shower. His and her vanities feature rectangular marble vessel sinks complemented by light cabinetry and brown quartz counters. Tiered cabinets on either side provide additional storage. A free-standing tulip tub with flared edges is angled elegantly in one corner. A wall treatment in shades of hammered metal completes the tableau.

Bonita Springs-based Vogue Interiors announced it has been selected to design and execute the interior design for Stock Signature Homes’ furnished Madison model in the Collingtree neighborhood in Country Club East at Lakewood Ranch. Vogue’s Sheila Corasaniti, IDS and Salvatore Giso, IDS are creating a relaxed interior with a calm color palette for the 2,947 square feet under air, four bedroom, four-and-a-half bath residence. The great room floor plan includes a study, a gourmet island kitchen, a dining room with 90-degree pocketing sliders that open to an outdoor living area with a summer kitchen, pool, and spa, and a three-car garage.

Taking their initial inspiration from a fabric featuring an embroidered floating water lily leaf, designers Corasaniti and Giso have based their concept on the calming and relaxing qualities of water. Inspired by the ever-changing aspects of water, the home will have a serene and relaxing ambiance realized in the tranquil neutral color palette of soft cream, light natural taupe, and rich chocolate brown. Accents of a soft gray blue and warm vanilla will add to the overall quiet elegance of the design. Tile flooring in a light toned weathered wood design will be used throughout the home, with a darker accent inlay in the foyer and a reverse pattern in both the study and in the gallery.

Upon entry to the home, the right wall of the foyer will feature an elegant weathered wood console with a large beautifully crafted metal leaf design on the front, contrasting the earthy wood and the hard metal textures. Above the console, a large mirror in a weathered wood frame will reflect the stunningly colorful artwork mounted on the left wall. An oversized tall and narrow open ironwork chandelier will complement the amazing sense of light and volume in the entry space. The foyer flows directly into the grand gallery hallway, an impressive 18’ high space with two tray ceilings with intricate architectural details and a darker toned reverse patterned flooring that will echo the design direction of the ceiling. Two softly shaded chandeliers will highlight the impressive height of the gallery and illuminate the artwork on the walls. This space creates a sense of arrival as you approach the great room.

The great room will feature a media wall with an open seaglass console showcasing a creamy Travertine top. A flat screen television will be mounted above the media console on a wall covered in a dramatic highly textured metallic toned bronze and chocolate wallpaper that mimics the look of fine grained leather. Two cozy and comfortable soft gray-blue club chairs will be set on a creamy soft modern shag rug facing a sophisticated oversized sofa upholstered in a luxurious pale cream herringbone fabric. The richly embroidered accent pillows on the sofa will be in the designers’ original inspirational lily leaf fabric in velvet. The clean and modern look will continue in the metal base cocktail table inlaid with a patterned white driftwood finish, again highlighting the contrast of textural elements. Further seating in the great room will be provided by two sporty and masculine settees in a rich chocolate brown mohair fabric. The settees will face the great gallery hall and the pool area on either side of the sofa and will be complemented by richly striped accent pillows containing all the colors in the home’s palette. Here, as in all areas of the home, generous cream gauze fabric panels will dress all the windows to create soft light and relaxing movement.

In the study, a lighter and more feminine sensibility will take over. An impressive cream shagreen desk with gold cast metal legs will take center stage in front of a huge mirrored wall designed with both horizontal and vertical patterns. Fronting the mirrored wall will be two geometric bookcases in a white chocolate finish. The interesting architectural shape of the bookcases will be in the form of stacked boxes cascading from smaller on the top to larger on the bottom. Across from the desk two whimsical horn design club chairs in a pale vanilla toned fabric will flank a metallic gold drum table.

Open to the great room, the kitchen will feature a large pantry and wide counter-height island. All cabinetry will be finished in an elegant deep cream finish with subtle natural taupe striations. The cabinetry will be complemented by gleaming quartz counter surfaces in soft cream with rich chocolate and taupe details throughout. Adding dimensional intrigue to the kitchen, the backsplash will be an unusual three dimensional design comprised of overlapping small cream tiles creating the illusion of cascading movement and texture and referencing the designers’ original water inspiration.

In the dining area just off the kitchen, large windows will offer expansive views onto the outdoor living area and the pool. The romantic dining design plan will include a large round dining table with an inlaid metal pedestal base and espresso toned finish. Six comfortable open back espresso dining chairs will be fitted with a luxurious creamy linen fabric. A large round center detail in the ceiling will feature a backlit cove designed to create an unusually effective soft glowing atmosphere for entertaining.

The lanai will present a flexible and comfortable outdoor entertaining area. An outdoor gas fireplace will be the gathering place for casual entertaining on two sofas accented with deep espresso and cream pillows. Outdoor dining will seat six at a rectangular table with dining chairs sporting light cream cushions. Directly outside the master suite, an intimate conversation area will feature four open weave barrel chairs with complementing drinks tables. The conversation piece of the lanai will surely be the Tropical resort cabana bed on the corner of the pool deck. The large round daybed is centered by a built in cocktail table and a whimsical sculptural canopy rises from one side to hover over the top of the bed.

The serene master suite will feature walls in soft vanilla tones with a continuation of the driftwood flooring. A dreamy king canopy bed will be dressed with a textured solid cream coverlet accented by multiple throw pillows in a metallic leafy pattern and in a geometric chevron patterned fabric. The stunning bed will have light wood corner posts, an ironwork canopy and upholstered inserts of cream linen. Nightstands will be in a lighter taupe wood with fretwork inserts on the front and the dresser will be a darker toned taupe wood. Two flax club chairs will flank a drum accent table by the doors to the lanai. The master bedroom windows will be dressed in breezy light cream chenille gauze panels for romantic dreams.\\

The expansive master bath will boast a high-gloss Carrara look flooring and shower in a pale cream. Transitional off white cabinetry will be topped with Diana Royale marble countertops. Shower details will include glass and stone listello accent tile that will incorporate the cream, blue gray and taupe colors of the home. An elegant free standing spa tub will float in the center of the luxuriously appointed room.

Vogue Interiors announced it has completed the design and execution of the interior for a Casa Arianna residence built by Harbourside Custom Homes in the Fairgrove neighborhood at Talis Park. Fairgrove offers golf course, water and preserve views. The neighborhood presents 24 south facing homes. Italian Renaissance designs are joined by a Spanish Eclectic style. Homes in Fairgrove range from 3,100 to 4,000 square feet. Vogue’s award-winning interior designer Leslie Gebert, Allied Member, ASID created the interior for the 3,935 square feet, four bedroom, four bath Casa Arianna. The great room floor plan includes a fireplace, wet bar, his and her studies, a formal dining room, a gourmet island kitchen, a two-car garage, and a one-car garage. A summer kitchen and fireplace are featured in the outdoor living area. The Casa Arianna is priced at $2,995,000 with furnishings.

Gebert’s design concept for the Casa Arianna combines elegance and grace with easy comfort for a practical and refined lifestyle. Set against a foundation of ivory stone flooring, her concept includes soft champagne metallics with sophisticated layers of rich eggplant and purples blended with ivory tones for distinctive contrasts.

The Arianna’s open flow is immediately evident upon entering the home’s spacious foyer. Square painted columns define an airy dining room on the left as a grand hallway sweeps past to the great room and kitchen beyond. Three handsome rectangular coffered ceiling details, each adorned with metallic sheen eggplant grasscloth, mark the progression through this elegant space. Below, decorative 2 x 2-inch tile detailing in a blend of the ivory stone defines corresponding rectangles in the floor for harmonious balance. Striking chandeliers with the look of crystal and amethyst sunbursts are suspended from each coffer.

Suspended from the faux finished double coffer in the dining room, a large rectangular crystal chandelier illuminates a long glass-top table. The chairs are upholstered in a tone-on-tone white zebra pattern to contrast with a dark espresso finish on the wooden legs. A stylish mirrored detailing is applied to the back wall and includes a pair of attractive sconces.

An opening from the dining room leads into a well-appointed wet bar that also serves the great room. The bar’s back wall is faux finished in a delicate champagne color with upper and lower cabinetry executed in a soft taupe. The upper cabinets feature lighted glass fronts. The dynamic backsplash, in laser cut tiles of taupe and white, presents the look of a rounded diamond pattern. The bar is executed in Taj Mahal granite and features three dark-legged stools upholstered in an ivory fabric.

The spacious great room displays an elaborate ceiling treatment with back-lighted floating beams in a rectangular coffer. Pocketing sliders open to the covered lanai and offer spectacular south-facing views and beautiful natural light. A feature wall that incorporates a centered fireplace flanked by columns dominates the great room. The lower half of the fireplace wall is decorated with a repetition of the 2 x 2-inch stone tile detail found in the foyer while a mauve pleated metallic wallpaper adds a shimmery glow above. On either side of the columns, base cabinets in a soft taupe finish are topped with lighted glass cabinets to perfectly showcase objets d’art. The seating arrangement includes two swivel chairs in a neutral velvet and two large sofas arranged in an L-shape and upholstered in a soft ivory textured fabric. Each sofa is adorned with long kidney pillows in an ivory and amethyst leopard print. A beautifully textured rug in deep eggplant forms the foundation for a fascinating glass-topped cocktail table in silver fashioned to resemble a large spreading tree trunk. Two contemporary side tables in a gray finish with large chrome ring pulls complete the ensemble.

The great room flows easily into a comfortable kitchen featuring a generous island with food prep and entertainment space. The island’s base cabinetry is executed in a muted taupe while the perimeter cabinetry is finished in a soft off-white with a misty taupe glaze. The unified granite counters and backsplash present a vibrant swirling blend of white, light taupe, and brown tones. In the adjacent breakfast nook, angled mitred windows overlook Talis Park’s glorious tableau. A circular glass-topped table is paired with elegant tall chairs upholstered in amethyst metallic suede.

In the outdoor living area, Gebert created a congenial space suitable for entertaining a large family and guests. The summer kitchen’s cabinetry is finished in an espresso color that matches the tongue-in-groove ceiling overhead. On the counters and walk-up island bar, a serene granite in soft taupe adds contrast. A bistro table provides separate casual seating. Nearby, two 54-inch square tables in a dark brown outdoor rattan finish offer flexible dining whether joined together or set apart. Ten easily stored stackable chairs extend the dining options. An impressive fireplace wall is adorned with 20 x 20-inch tile in a deep taupe hue. The firebox features a contemporary rectangular design. Gathered around this relaxing conversation area, Gebert established a comfortable seating group for seven. A woven rattan sofa with decorative purple pillows and four swivel chairs is anchored by an outdoor rug in cream and purple zebra stripes.

In addition to the gentleman’s library, this residence features an enchanting lady’s study at the front of the home. The walls of this charming space are decorated with a silver and white grass cloth to blend beautifully with a pale amethyst and off-white rug. Overhead, a crystal and gold bubble chandelier adds panache. An ivory shagreen desk is paired with a velvet chair with Lucite legs. Enhancing the sense of feminine serenity, Gebert has included a customized day bed with beautiful velvet end bolsters.

Double doors lead into the vestibule of the master suite where a faux finished artwork niche creates an immediate sense of tranquility. The bedroom is decorated in soft creams, taupes, and champagne with a touch of metallic purple. An upholstered bed with a tall cream headboard showcases metallic wood detailing. A decorative mirror adorns the wall overhead. On either side, antique mirrored nightstands reflect the beauty of two contemporary squared-off dressers aligned to create one long piece in a platinum metallic finish. In the lady’s closet, Gebert installed wallpaper in a tone-on-tone large animal print.

The flooring in the master bathroom is executed in a rectangular taupe porcelain tile and provide a foundation for a softly textured off-white rug. His and her vanity cabinetry are finished in glazed ivory with granite countertops in soft beige. A stool with Lucite legs and a textured amethyst velvet seat adds dimension. The soaking tub showcases a granite deck surround and front cabinetry panels. The flooring continues in the shower where a broad iridescent horizontal Listello will add a delicate shimmer.

Vogue Interiors announced award-winning designer Leslie Gebert, Allied Member, ASID has completed a refreshing makeover of a villa residence in the Montelago neighborhood at Miromar Beach & Golf Club. The approximately 2,500 square feet great room floor plan includes a pleasant dining area, island kitchen, four bedrooms, and three baths. The great room and kitchen offer landscaped water views. Gebert’s design intention included bringing a lighter, brighter feeling to the residence while incorporating new accessories and new furnishings along with existing furniture pieces her client wanted to keep.

The existing light creamy gold floor tile provided a fine neutral foundation for Gebert’s thoughtful plan and was not changed. Lighting fixtures throughout the home were updated for fresh appeal and the darker walls were transformed with a restorative soft white paint and glossy light trim for an immediate brightening effect. As part of the renewal process, Gebert unified the decorative style emphasizing a lighter, more transitional flavor throughout the home. This began in the foyer where a heavy Tuscan bronze light fixture was replaced with a simple rectangular boxed shape pendant with a walnut finish on a metal frame. Its linear design, repeated in the dining chandelier, introduces the classic clean lines that are presented in all rooms. The original entry table was replaced with a distressed wood console with an iron frame to coordinate subtly with the owner’s existing cocktail table in the great room. Above the console, a prominent, newly selected water color conveys a pleasing lightness and playful green, teal, blue, and spicy orange colors. Arched openings from the foyer allow a smooth transition into the great room and dining room.

The dining room features a wide and beautifully arched wall niche that Gebert accented in a soft blue-gray tone to provide elegant contrast. In the niche, a circular mirror with a sunburst metallic frame is suspended over a handsome storage buffet in a distressed wood finish. The owner’s original dining table was beautiful but dark. Replacing the wood with a glass top table instantly enlivened the space. The metallic bronze base blends perfectly with the large rectangular box pendant that matches the fixture in the foyer and hangs from a drop coffered ceiling. To meet the owner’s request for eight dining chairs without crowding the somewhat limited space, Gebert introduced chairs with a narrower profile that retain perfect proportion. The clean-lined chairs are upholstered in a cream vinyl for a classic chic look that is not only light and fresh, but also easy to care for. This fabric selection is in keeping with the owners’ request that all materials should be practical for their lifestyle, which includes visits from grandchildren. Anchoring the dining room tableau, the owner’s rug in shades of taupe and rust adds interesting color contrast. A window at the head of the dining table provides natural light while the bold mirror reflects glimpses of the home’s colorful comforts.

Maintaining harmony in her design, Gebert has incorporated the owner’s favorite furniture pieces, including their parson’s table next to the dining room window. It functions as a laptop desk and functions as the office space for the home. The accompanying chair upholstered in a patterned teal fabric is a perfect complement. Above the desk, a new piece of abstract artwork in swirling shades of muted greens and blue-grays adds fresh perspective to this informal workspace.

In the adjacent living room Gebert’s plan evolved around the owner’s sectional sofa upholstered in a dark sage green chenille fabric. Combined with a full wall of dark built-in shelving set against somber wall tones, the look had been rather heavy. The owners were considering painting the built-in shelving, but Gebert demonstrated how the fresh white walls provide a light, clean backdrop against which their collected items could be displayed. By showcasing a few well-placed decorative pots, glass jars, and sculptures that incorporate the home’s accent tones, the built-ins now provide a handsome focal point in the room creating balance and harmony. A large spice colored charger in the center of the display echoes the shape of the dining room mirror. The inclusion of elegant solid colored pillows on the sectional sofa in shades of orange, blue, and yellow instantly brightened the darker background fabric. The accent tones in the existing area rug, which include the blue-gray and rust tones from the dining room, now radiate with fresh life. Also incorporated are the owner’s wicker armchair adorned with colorful cushions and a throw, and a rectangular glass top table framed in distressed wood. Although crafted by different manufacturers, Gebert was able to source several furniture pieces finished in a distressed walnut tone to combine beautifully with the owner’s cocktail table. These include the foyer console, the dining room buffet, and a sofa table by the lanai. Tall, sheer drapery panels with raffia embroidery were added to soften and frame the large windows that overlook the pool area. Beyond the pool, an expansive lake and woodland preserve provide a beautiful background and natural extension to the refreshed living space.

In the kitchen, the granite counters and medium brown cabinetry remain unchanged. To invigorate the presentation, Gebert replaced all the Tuscan light fixtures with sleeker modern styles. Against one wall, where a dark oversized cabinet had dominated the space, a smaller chest in a linen fabric finish with a bronze nail head detail now offers lighter proportion. Graceful artwork adorns the wall above. Two barstools upholstered in a spice colored fabric add balance and practicality at the granite bar area that wraps around into the living room.

While the original furniture in the master bedroom was left untouched, simple modifications to the room lightened and rejuvenated the ambiance. A wall niche in the entry to the master bedroom was painted a deeper neutral color so it would stand out in contrast against the restful whites and creams of the room. The old standard pile carpet was replaced with a more fashionable cut pile variety, and graceful new pillows were added to the bedding. In the master bathroom, the wall tones were lightened and a selection of new accessories was added for fresh embellishment.

Gebert’s design plan extended to the lanai used by the owners as a second living area. A comfortable conversation area was established with four glider rocker chairs upholstered with richly padded cushions in orange and aquamarine blue and anchored by a cheery chevron rug. Above the bar area, an oversized painting in bold tones of orange, cream, and aquamarine adds colorful emphasis. Stylish new barstools were introduced along with a glass top dining table and matching chairs. Relaxing loungers add the finishing touch. From the foyer, looking through the living room to the charm of the outdoor living area, the harmony of Gebert’s well-blended color palette is evident throughout.

Vogue Interiors announced it has completed the design and execution of the interior for Stock Signature Homes’ Glenmore furnished model now open for viewing and purchase at Quail West in North Naples. Designed to take full advantage of Quail West’s hallmark indoor/outdoor lifestyle, the Glenmore offers 3,591 square feet under air and an outdoor living area measuring 995 square feet that features an outdoor fireplace, summer kitchen, pool, and spa. The four bedroom, four-and-a-half bath great room floor plan includes a comfortable dining area, study, and a three-car garage. The model showcases an interior designed by Vogue’s Sheila Corasaniti, IDS.

Corasaniti’s graceful design is anchored in the classic contrast of black against white. Throughout the home, the high contrast color palette of black and white is enhanced by exotic textures for high impact. She introduces accents in soft gold metallic, silver, and a bit of taupe. The flooring throughout the living areas, study, and master suite is executed in a high polish 24 x 24-inch off-white porcelain tile that provides a mirrored sheen on the floor. The background wall colors throughout the residence are presented in off-white, except for the use of wallpapers introduced for texture and contrast. Corasaniti incorporated unique materials and textures, including black crown molding and black beams to offset the whites. The overall effect is one of clean-lined sophistication within a relaxed, informal setting.

The striking theme begins in the foyer where identical side wall niches display fabulous coordinating mirrors in gold and trimmed in black over elegant gold tables with black stone tops. The eye is drawn through the great room and wide pocketing sliders to the outdoors.

A double door entry to the right leads into the study where the off-white porcelain flooring continues. Corasaniti’s handsome plan includes custom cabinetry across the back wall to encase the window with a wood shade that effectively blends it into the design. Two black-framed occasional chairs face the cabinetry. Each is upholstered in a black and cream snake skin fabric. A shag rug on the floor adds additional texture.

Corasaniti’s design incorporates a stunning feature wall in the great room. Two floor-to-ceiling black columns trimmed with custom wood frame either end of the display while two more divide the space into three sections. Within each section, black cabinetry floats at the base while lighted glass shelves, framed in wood, float above. The wall behind is adorned in a champagne metal wall covering to provide a shimmery luster. Overhead, the coffered ceiling is defined by floating black beams, back lit for added drama. Facing the feature wall, a contemporary sofa in a linen fabric with a slight sheen to it is decorated with black and cream pillows in a variety of textures. In front of the sliding glass doors, a semi-backless upholstered bench in cream features multiple fabrics in patterns of black and cream. Completing the furniture grouping, two side chairs in light taupe textured cotton showcase fabric backs in a contrasting pearly tone. Two rectangular cocktail tables in antique mirror with black accents balance the center of the room. In contrast, black end tables display hand-painted trim in gold. Framing the sliders, and extending into the adjacent dining area, tall pleated drapes reveal flamboyant stripes in black and cream.

From the great room, a smooth transition to the gourmet kitchen is afforded via a counter height outer island that functions as an informal dining space. Champagne gold counter stools with a hair-on-hide finish are wrapped around three sides of the island. The outer island and perimeter cabinetry are finished in off-white with a granite countertop. The perimeter’s backsplash displays a cream background with black and gold striations. A second inner island for food preparation showcases a countertop in absolute black granite.

The dining area adjacent to the kitchen also features pocketing sliders that open to the outdoors and allow the entire living space to blend with the outdoor living area for entertaining. The dining table is fashioned as an elliptical oval in a dark wood accompanied by two curved benches on the long sides and a coordinating chair at each end. The seating is presented in a soft golden fabric for a lively contrast with the dark wood. To one side, a wall niche accommodates a floating black credenza with an onyx top enhanced by back lighting and set against a metallic wall backdrop. Attractive wall sconces add further highlights.

On the lanai, a fireplace custom-designed by Corasaniti provides the focus for a welcoming conversation area. A 42-inch linear firebox is encased in a wall of 12 x 24-inch gray tile with the look of silver stone. Clean-lined black wicker furniture adorned with cream, black and gold cushions is juxtaposed against flooring pavers in an off-white shell stone. A black outdoor hand-woven lanai rug adds further contrast and texture. At the opposite end of the lanai, the outdoor kitchen features graphite cabinetry with contrasting granite countertops and a counter height bar. The dining furniture includes a woven table and chairs in a black finish with an off-white fabric. For the pool’s water line and spa tile, Corasaniti selected a reflective pewter metallic border for dramatic sparkle.

A hallway beyond the study leads to double doors that open to the vestibule of the glamorous master suite. Corasaniti’s cohesive plan of light and dark continues in the charming bedroom with splashes of gold to add a layer of richness. The bed features a curved head and footboard with cream upholstery to offset the dark wood frame. Warm silver nightstands display cream tops with dramatic silver and gold drawer pulls. The dark chocolate wooden dresser showcases a round mirror above framed in gold. A spacious sitting area with double doors that open to a private covered lanai accommodates two modern wing chairs upholstered in off-white and decorated with black pillows and gold grommets. On each side, delicate mirrored tables reflect the beauty of the outdoors. A black skirted ottoman in front of the chairs encourages quiet repose. Beautiful sheer drapes hung from black medallions suffuse the room with breezy softness. Overhead, an architectural detail in the ceiling tray creates the look of simple beams.

The master bathroom showcases off-white cabinetry with black granite countertops set against decadent wallpaper in soft gold with swirls of black. In the water closet, the background is the same soft gold but without pattern. Off-white tile in the enormous shower is accented with striking gold and graphite detailing. A free-standing tub adds crisp white elegance.

Vogue Interiors announced that Donna Overly, ASID, an award-winning designer specializing in renovation and aging in place design, has completed the design and execution of an updated interior for an approximately 1,995 square feet, two-bedroom, two-bath condominium at the north end of Gulfshore Drive just south of Wiggins Pass. The condominium is located in a building built in 1980. Overly’s intention was to give what had become a dark, drab residence a current look with an upscale aesthetic and to take advantage of the home’s stunning Gulf views. Overly was also tasked with entirely replacing a hodge-podge of outdated furnishings inherited by her client from the previous owner.

Overly’s transformational design for this condominium began with a fresh new color palette that suffuses the home with an elegant understated grace. She eliminated the existing gold and brown tones and introduced a sophisticated blend of light taupe backgrounds and white trim with delightful infusions of sea glass and teal as accents to reflect the beauty of the stunning Gulf views. The original deckle-edge travertine stone flooring, laid on the diagonal, presented a neutral and timeless foundation that blended easily with the new plans.

The lighting throughout the home was updated. All overhead and cove lighting was replaced with cooler, energy efficient LED lighting that also looks discreet and modern. Harmonious sconce lighting was introduced in specific areas to help illuminate darker paces and add visual interest.

The entire condominium was refurnished with case goods in light wood tones and soft furnishings upholstered in sophisticated linens. The kitchen was totally redesigned to eliminate dark cabinetry and dark granite. Several innovative carpentry concepts were introduced to enhance the overall aesthetic. These included custom “shadow boxes” to artfully accommodate the home’s three wall-mounted televisions while hiding the mounting brackets and cables. In each case, the boxes were finished to blend perfectly with the furniture underneath for a unified, pleasing profile.

Upon entry into the foyer with its see-through views to the magnificent Gulf, an elegant console on the left is finished in a light oatmeal color with four darker fog-chagrined doors and a brushed nickel base. Tall slender lamps illuminate a large square piece of art over the console that introduces the condominium’s sea glass accent tones. A hallway on the right leads to the guest bedroom which epitomizes restful elegance with its muted tones, pleasing artwork, and handsome area rug.

Moving into the heart of the home where the spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room flow comfortably together, Overly’s main seating arrangement includes a light-toned curved sectional sofa with a chaise lounge at one end. The fabric is a practical outdoor linen reminiscent of a relaxed beach cottage. Throw pillows in patterned creams, taupes, and teals coordinate perfectly with the large rectangular area rug displaying captivating organic swirls. A cocktail table ottoman upholstered in a creamy faux leather adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Across from the sectional, a four-door console in a light driftwood finish anchors the television with its custom-made shadow box wall mounting. Overly has placed a sofa table that functions as a slim line desk behind the sectional. A chair from the dining room can easily be pulled up to provide practical work space, ideal for a condominium that has no study. The desk’s slender bronze legs, light oatmeal finish, and fog-chagrined drawer fronts perfectly complement the foyer console.

Another custom design feature is evident around the wide living room sliders. In order to disguise the dark bronze slider frames and hurricane shutter apparatus, Overly designed artful lambrequins upholstered in a light textured fabric. These chic valance casings brighten the openings to the screened balcony without obstructing any of the beautiful Gulf views.

In the adjacent dining room, Overly’s beguiling design incorporates four floor-to-ceiling French doors, crafted by a master carpenter, along the entire side wall. Their multiple mirrored panes enhance the area with bright reflections of the natural light while the central handles provide the illusion of functioning doors that could open to another room. In fact, this is the shared common wall with the neighboring unit. The stylish glass-topped dining table features a chrome base with geometric struts. At either end, host and hostess chairs display silver leaf wooden legs with seats and backs upholstered in a herringbone linen fabric. A chrome handle on the back of these chairs helps to maneuver them with ease. The four side chairs display a retro-style wooden frame in silver leaf and a natural Jakarta fabric for the upholstery. A wall sconce has been added to the structural column between the dining and living rooms. On the back wall, a handsome buffet console in a Geneva gray finish with a dove colored fabric on the door fronts completes the tableau.

The kitchen features extensive perimeter cabinetry and a generous free-standing island where four bar stools with taupe frames and soft teal upholstered seats provide a casual gathering spot. Overhead, lovely hand blown pendant fixtures add elegant beauty. Fresh new cabinetry in a gentle glazed cream finish is complemented by countertops in a sea foam green granite that has the look of onyx. New upgraded stainless appliances include an induction cooktop with a magnetic heating system for increased efficiency and safety. Additional storage has been created by adding more pantry space as well as new cabinetry for the dry bar just off the kitchen. The dry bar also features a complementary granite counter top and a striking custom mirror with horizontal waves of clear and colored glass.

The master bedroom is accessed through double French doors from the great room. Overly has paneled these, too, with mirrors to add the benefits of reflected light and the semblance of additional space. Woven grass cloth in sea glass tones adds a layer of texture and color to the headboard wall. The magnificent bed, fully upholstered in linen, showcases a scalloped padded headboard and is flanked by graceful nightstands that display mirrored fronts with a circular wood detail. A beautiful area rug with a geometrical design in cream and teal anchors the room while, across from the bed, a dresser in a Cliffside gray finish features six concave drawers for added dimension. Sliders open the room to a master patio that is also accessible from the great room. This ideal relaxation area, perfect for morning coffee overlooking the Gulf, features two opposing wood framed easy chairs, painted in an antique white finish with sea foam colored cushions, and a cozy ottoman in between. On the back wall a console in a driftwood finish provides room for wine storage and accessories.

While no major renovations were completed in the master bathroom, Overly added a cream colored wall covering. This handmade paper fashioned by artisans gives life and texture to the walls. Incorporated in the wallpaper are two crushed crystal geckos that make a striking impression upon entering the room.
