Vogue Interiors’ Salvatore Giso Creating Interior for Stock’s Mayfield III Model at Lakewood Ranch

Mayfield III Elevation B

Vogue Interiors’ Salvatore Giso, IDS is creating the interior design for Stock Signature Homes’ furnished Mayfield III model in the Genoa neighborhood at Lakewood Ranch. Sarah Fain is the Lead Design Assistant for the model. The four bedroom, four and a half bath Mayfield III residence features an open great room, island kitchen, and breakfast nook as well as a formal dining room, study, and an outdoor living area with a spacious conversation area, an outdoor dining area, and an outdoor kitchen. Pocketing sliders open the great room to the outdoor space.

Salvatore’s design will merge the indoors and outdoors by bringing natural elements into the home. His color palette will include sandy-toned walls, pure white trim, and deep forest green accents. Neutral wood finishes have been incorporated into the look. Flooring throughout the living areas will be off-white sandy colored 24-inch by 24-inch tile. Contemporary crystal chandeliers will be found throughout the residence and bring a luminous sophistication to the design.

Salvatore’s use of contemporary lighting fixtures will be introduced in the foyer where a chandelier finished in chrome with crystal balls on the top and bottom will be suspended from a ceiling that will feature double crown molding. His approach to including beautiful lighting fixtures will continue in the study where a contemporary hexagon shaped chandelier will hang over a weathered half-moon desk finished in a caramel toned hardwood. A matching credenza with fret work will be positioned behind the desk. Above the credenza, a brown and white oil painting that conveys the look of birch trees sitting on the horizon will combine with faux wood tones and wooden blinds to provide the natural elements that are at the heart of Salvatore’s design.

A dry bar in the great room will feature a base cabinet finished in a mushroom taupe tone that will play against a weathered matte grey granite counter surface that includes soft taupe and beige veining. The same granite will be run all the way to the ceiling to provide a backsplash that will serve as a background for mushroom taupe toned upper cabinets. The dry bar will also feature an undercounter wine chiller.

The great room’s ceiling will showcase beam details finished with thick white birch vinyl wallpaper. Six beams placed horizontally on the feature wall will also be wrapped with wallpaper. A credenza placed against the feature wall will include an earthy brown finish with tan and grey colored glass on the front. A long stretch of wall to the right of the credenza will showcase a floor to ceiling art piece. Furnishings in the great room will include a sofa and love seat with a light tan crypto stain proof fabric. Light tan barreled swivel side chairs will feature backs finished with a woven emerald green velvet in a geometric pattern. A reclaimed wood accent table with a circular top will be placed between the two side chairs. End tables in a silk road color that has the look of brushed linen will flank the sofa. A large square cocktail with chrome legs will include a base and a bottom shelf with brushed nickel details. A cream and white striped low pile rug will anchor the seating area. Another spectacular chandelier will include a chrome orb with starbursts of linear crystals that orbit around it. Draperies in both the great room and the breakfast nook will be done in a creamy white linen with a ripple pleated fold.

In the formal dining room, a live edge light wood rectangular dining table with a brushed nickel base will seat eight. The host and hostess chairs and the side chairs will be done in a neutral fabric and feature tapered legs and driftwood finished frames. The room’s feature wall will showcase a stunning art piece. A unique chandelier will include acrylic tubes wrapped in chrome that create a bubble-like effect. Pleated draperies will be installed on oval rods.

The kitchen’s island base cabinet and perimeter cabinetry will be finished in the mushroom taupe tone featured on the dry bar. The island and perimeter countertops will match the dry bar’s weathered matte grey granite counter surface that includes soft taupe and beige veining. Three mercury glass pendant lighting fixtures will be placed over the island. Four counter stools will feature a dark wood base and forest green fabric with an ultra-suede feeling. The perimeter’s backsplash will be fashioned from seven-inch by one-inch tiles with alternating textures of finished glass that will be run vertically and create a pattern. A circular dining table in the adjacent breakfast nook will feature a ribbed iron base and a light wood top with a weathered texture. Four dining chairs will include dark toned legs and an off-white linen fabric. The lighting fixture will have a modern candelabra look with a brushed nickel finish.

Salvatore will continue his color palette in the master bedroom where a ceiling with four tray details with backlighting will convey the appearance of a shadow box. The bed’s headboard, footboard, and side rails will be upholstered in soft sage velvet. An off-white linen toned wood detail will be incorporated in the bed’s design. Traditional nightstands with tapered legs and a dresser will include a pale olive-green finish. A side chair will feature a velvet like dove toned fabric and will be accompanied by a circular side table that includes lightly sandblasted wood finished in a platinum taupe tone, a sleek brushed stainless-steel base, and a stone top. Yet another unique chandelier will look like hanging crystal icicles wrapped with a chrome band.

A matching chandelier will be suspended over his and her vanities in the master bath. Off-white alabaster vanity cabinetry will be topped by white-toned Calcutta Botanica quartz counter surfaces. The bath also features a free-standing tub, a separate water closet, and flooring and walls finished with the same 24-inch by 24-inch tile found in the home’s living area. The shower walls and floor will be finished with matching tile in a two-inch by four-inch format. Vertically stacked frosted and aluminum tiles a half-inch wide will provide an accent on the shower head wall.
A generously sized conversation area on the covered lanai will showcase a sectional sofa and a side chair done in a sandy-toned outdoor fabric. A square cocktail table and an end table will feature light aluminum bases and light taupe tops. The furnishings will be complimented by a console with open shelving for towel and pool accessory storage. An eight-foot by 10-foot large loop area rug in a green, black, and white toned beaded fabric will anchor the seating area and match the accent pillows on the sofa. A rectangular dining table with a champagne finished frame and a grey speckled wood top will provide a comfortable setting for outdoor dining. The outdoor kitchen will feature cabinets in a weathered dockside finish, a fantasy brown granite counter surface, and a backsplash that includes horizontal three-inch by 12-inch caramel toned tile and a birch toned accent that has the appearance of a stretched-out honeycomb.
