Vogue Interiors’ Award-Winning Designs Acknowledged by CBIA and LBIA

Vogue Interiors’ 30-year tradition of award-winning design excellence continued in October with the receipt of four Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA) Sand Dollar Awards and seven awards presented by the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA). Vogue was acknowledged for its work in numerous categories ranging from its residential interior designs to its commercial designs and marketing materials.

Vogue’s Debbie DeMaria, ASID, I.D.S. and Leslie Gebert, Allied Member, ASID were named recipients of the Best Interior Design – Single Family Home in both the CBIA’s Sand Dollar $2,500,000 – $2,999,999 category and the BIA’s Pinnacle Award $2,700,000 – $3,499,999 category for their design of a private residence in Quail West that encompasses a total of 7,863 square feet. The Casa Fiore’s architectural design includes four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a study, formal living and dining rooms, an airy gourmet island kitchen, a spacious leisure room, an outdoor living area with an outdoor kitchen, pool, spa and fireplace and a five-car garage with a motor court. DeMaria and Gebert used a palette of reds, golds, creams, bronzes and rust colors softened by melon tones against a neutral pale cream background. Lightly textured Travertine marble flooring in the living areas matches the neutral background. Their design transformed a space already well under construction into a home that satisfied both the man of the house’s relaxed, casual lifestyle and the lady of the house’s more formal, sophisticated approach to entertaining on a corporate executive level.

DeMaria and Gebert were also named recipients of BIA’s Pinnacle Merit Award in the Best Interior Design – Single Family Home $1,500,000 – $1,999,999 category for their design of Harbourside Custom Home’s Villa d’Este fully-furnished model residence at Talis Park in North Naples. The low-key, California casual design style conveys a classic yet low key feeling that is comfortable, elegant and perfectly suited to the New Fashioned Talis Park lifestyle. DeMaria and Gebert’s light, soothing colors in the Villa d’Este have a hint of drama. The palette is reflected in a mix of natural elements, including stone finishes, light granites, mica and slate wall coverings, light woods and a hemp area rug in the great room. Fabric selections include textured linen, grey mohair and silk accents. Porcelain tile flooring in a variety of natural shades is used in the living areas, while medium-brown hardwood is presented in the study;
Vogue Licensed Interior Designer Janice Maskell was acknowledged for her designs in two private residences in Tavira at Bonita Bay. One residence was named recipient of the Sand Dollar Award in the Best Interior Design – Multi Family Home $2,000,000 – $2,499-999 and the Pinnacle Award’s Best Interior Design – Multi Family Home $2,000,000 – $2,699,999 categories. The second residence received a BIA Pinnacle Award in the Best Interior Design – Multi Family Home $1,500,000 – $1,999,999 category. Maskell also was presented with CBIA’s Sand Dollar and BIA’s Summit Awards in their respective Commercial Interior Design categories for her design of a Cadillac automobile dealership showroom in Clearwater.

Vogue’s Sheila Herrera, IDS Associate received a BIA Pinnacle Merit Award for her interior design of Stock Signature Homes’ Greenbriar II model residence in Lely Resort’s Lakoya neighborhood. The 2,949 square feet home includes three bedrooms, four baths, formal living and dining rooms, a study, an island kitchen and family room, a three-car garage, and an outdoor living area with a pool, spa, outdoor kitchen and sitting and dining areas. Her dramatic, sparkly design conveys a sophisticated, contemporary feeling. To lighten the look, Herrera utilized numerous reflective elements, including stainless steel, chrome, crystal, glass and mirrors, all of which play against a pale grey color palette with black, white, raspberry and plum accents. Off-white trim and porcelain tile flooring in the main living areas contribute to the home’s inviting ambiance.

Vogue also received a CBIA Sand Dollar Best Newsletter and BIA Pinnacle Best Online Marketing Campaign – Online Newsletter award for its bi-monthly e-newsletter. The newsletter is produced by Vogue’s Public Relations and Marketing Consultant, Caffrey & Associates, in partnership with Naples-based Integrity NetWorx and Vogue’s staff.
