Vogue Completes Interior for Casa Arianna at Talis Park

Vogue Interiors announced it has completed the design and execution of the interior for a Casa Arianna residence built by Harbourside Custom Homes in the Fairgrove neighborhood at Talis Park. Fairgrove offers golf course, water and preserve views. The neighborhood presents 24 south facing homes. Italian Renaissance designs are joined by a Spanish Eclectic style. Homes in Fairgrove range from 3,100 to 4,000 square feet. Vogue’s award-winning interior designer Leslie Gebert, Allied Member, ASID created the interior for the 3,935 square feet, four bedroom, four bath Casa Arianna. The great room floor plan includes a fireplace, wet bar, his and her studies, a formal dining room, a gourmet island kitchen, a two-car garage, and a one-car garage. A summer kitchen and fireplace are featured in the outdoor living area. The Casa Arianna is priced at $2,995,000 with furnishings.

Gebert’s design concept for the Casa Arianna combines elegance and grace with easy comfort for a practical and refined lifestyle. Set against a foundation of ivory stone flooring, her concept includes soft champagne metallics with sophisticated layers of rich eggplant and purples blended with ivory tones for distinctive contrasts.

The Arianna’s open flow is immediately evident upon entering the home’s spacious foyer. Square painted columns define an airy dining room on the left as a grand hallway sweeps past to the great room and kitchen beyond. Three handsome rectangular coffered ceiling details, each adorned with metallic sheen eggplant grasscloth, mark the progression through this elegant space. Below, decorative 2 x 2-inch tile detailing in a blend of the ivory stone defines corresponding rectangles in the floor for harmonious balance. Striking chandeliers with the look of crystal and amethyst sunbursts are suspended from each coffer.

Suspended from the faux finished double coffer in the dining room, a large rectangular crystal chandelier illuminates a long glass-top table. The chairs are upholstered in a tone-on-tone white zebra pattern to contrast with a dark espresso finish on the wooden legs. A stylish mirrored detailing is applied to the back wall and includes a pair of attractive sconces.

An opening from the dining room leads into a well-appointed wet bar that also serves the great room. The bar’s back wall is faux finished in a delicate champagne color with upper and lower cabinetry executed in a soft taupe. The upper cabinets feature lighted glass fronts. The dynamic backsplash, in laser cut tiles of taupe and white, presents the look of a rounded diamond pattern. The bar is executed in Taj Mahal granite and features three dark-legged stools upholstered in an ivory fabric.

The spacious great room displays an elaborate ceiling treatment with back-lighted floating beams in a rectangular coffer. Pocketing sliders open to the covered lanai and offer spectacular south-facing views and beautiful natural light. A feature wall that incorporates a centered fireplace flanked by columns dominates the great room. The lower half of the fireplace wall is decorated with a repetition of the 2 x 2-inch stone tile detail found in the foyer while a mauve pleated metallic wallpaper adds a shimmery glow above. On either side of the columns, base cabinets in a soft taupe finish are topped with lighted glass cabinets to perfectly showcase objets d’art. The seating arrangement includes two swivel chairs in a neutral velvet and two large sofas arranged in an L-shape and upholstered in a soft ivory textured fabric. Each sofa is adorned with long kidney pillows in an ivory and amethyst leopard print. A beautifully textured rug in deep eggplant forms the foundation for a fascinating glass-topped cocktail table in silver fashioned to resemble a large spreading tree trunk. Two contemporary side tables in a gray finish with large chrome ring pulls complete the ensemble.

The great room flows easily into a comfortable kitchen featuring a generous island with food prep and entertainment space. The island’s base cabinetry is executed in a muted taupe while the perimeter cabinetry is finished in a soft off-white with a misty taupe glaze. The unified granite counters and backsplash present a vibrant swirling blend of white, light taupe, and brown tones. In the adjacent breakfast nook, angled mitred windows overlook Talis Park’s glorious tableau. A circular glass-topped table is paired with elegant tall chairs upholstered in amethyst metallic suede.

In the outdoor living area, Gebert created a congenial space suitable for entertaining a large family and guests. The summer kitchen’s cabinetry is finished in an espresso color that matches the tongue-in-groove ceiling overhead. On the counters and walk-up island bar, a serene granite in soft taupe adds contrast. A bistro table provides separate casual seating. Nearby, two 54-inch square tables in a dark brown outdoor rattan finish offer flexible dining whether joined together or set apart. Ten easily stored stackable chairs extend the dining options. An impressive fireplace wall is adorned with 20 x 20-inch tile in a deep taupe hue. The firebox features a contemporary rectangular design. Gathered around this relaxing conversation area, Gebert established a comfortable seating group for seven. A woven rattan sofa with decorative purple pillows and four swivel chairs is anchored by an outdoor rug in cream and purple zebra stripes.

In addition to the gentleman’s library, this residence features an enchanting lady’s study at the front of the home. The walls of this charming space are decorated with a silver and white grass cloth to blend beautifully with a pale amethyst and off-white rug. Overhead, a crystal and gold bubble chandelier adds panache. An ivory shagreen desk is paired with a velvet chair with Lucite legs. Enhancing the sense of feminine serenity, Gebert has included a customized day bed with beautiful velvet end bolsters.

Double doors lead into the vestibule of the master suite where a faux finished artwork niche creates an immediate sense of tranquility. The bedroom is decorated in soft creams, taupes, and champagne with a touch of metallic purple. An upholstered bed with a tall cream headboard showcases metallic wood detailing. A decorative mirror adorns the wall overhead. On either side, antique mirrored nightstands reflect the beauty of two contemporary squared-off dressers aligned to create one long piece in a platinum metallic finish. In the lady’s closet, Gebert installed wallpaper in a tone-on-tone large animal print.

The flooring in the master bathroom is executed in a rectangular taupe porcelain tile and provide a foundation for a softly textured off-white rug. His and her vanity cabinetry are finished in glazed ivory with granite countertops in soft beige. A stool with Lucite legs and a textured amethyst velvet seat adds dimension. The soaking tub showcases a granite deck surround and front cabinetry panels. The flooring continues in the shower where a broad iridescent horizontal Listello will add a delicate shimmer.
