Vogue Awarded Interior for Glenmore Model at Quail West

Vogue Interiors announced it has been selected to design and execute the interior for Stock Signature Homes’ Glenmore furnished model now under construction at Quail West in North Naples. Designed to take full advantage of Quail West’s hallmark indoor/outdoor lifestyle, the Glenmore will offer 3,591 square feet under air and an outdoor living area measuring 995 square feet that features an outdoor fireplace, summer kitchen, pool, and spa. The four bedroom, four-and-a-half bath great room floor plan includes a comfortable dining area, study, and a three-car garage. The model will showcase an interior designed by Vogue’s Sheila Corasaniti, IDS.

Corasaniti’s graceful design is anchored in the classic contrast of black against white. Throughout the home, the high contrast color palette of black and white will be enhanced by exotic textures for high impact. She will introduce accents in soft gold metallic, silver, and a bit of taupe. The flooring throughout the living areas, study, and master suite will be executed in a high polish 24 x24-inch off-white porcelain tile that will provide a mirrored sheen on the floor. The background wall colors throughout the residence will be represented in off-white, except for the use of wallpapers introduced for texture and contrast. She will incorporate unique materials and play with texture, including black crown molding and black beams to offset the whites. The overall effect will be one of clean-lined sophistication within a relaxed, informal setting.

This striking theme will begin in the foyer where identical side wall niches will display fabulous coordinating pieces of black and white art work over elegant gold tables with black stone tops. The eye will be drawn through the great room and wide pocketing sliders to the outdoors.

A double door entry to the right will lead into the study where the off-white porcelain flooring will continue. Corasaniti’s handsome plan calls for custom cabinetry across the back wall to encase the window with a woven wood shade that will effectively blend it into the design. Two black-framed occasional chairs will face the cabinetry. Each will be upholstered in a black and cream snake skin finish. A shag rug on the floor will add additional texture.

Corasaniti’s plan will incorporate a stunning feature wall in the great room. Two floor-to-ceiling black columns trimmed with custom wood will frame either end of the display while two more will divide the space into three sections. Within each section, black cabinetry will float at the base while lighted glass shelves, framed in wood, will float above. The wall behind will be adorned in a champagne metal wall covering to provide a shimmery luster. Overhead, the coffered ceiling will be defined by floating black beams, back lit for added drama. Facing the feature wall, a contemporary sofa in a linen fabric with a slight sheen to it will be decorated with black and white pillows in a variety of textures. In front of the sliding glass doors, a semi-backless upholstered bench in cream will feature multiple fabrics in patterns of black and cream. Completing the furniture grouping, two side chairs in light taupe textured cotton will showcase fabric backs in a contrasting pearly tone. Two rectangular cocktail tables in subtle hammered gold metal embellished with nail heads will feature a Greek key design on the base. In contrast, black end tables will display hand-painted trim in gold. Framing the sliders, and extending into the adjacent dining area, tall pleated drapes will reveal flamboyant stripes in black and cream.

From the great room, a smooth transition to the gourmet kitchen will be afforded via a counter height outer island that will function as an informal dining space. Champagne gold counter stools with a hair-on-hide finish will be wrapped around three sides of the island. The outer island and perimeter cabinetry will be finished in off-white with a granite countertop. The perimeter’s backsplash will display a cream background with black and gold striations. A second inner island for food preparation will showcase a countertop in absolute black granite.

The dining area adjacent to the kitchen will also feature pocketing sliders that open to the outdoors and allow the entire living space to blend with the outdoor living area for entertaining. The dining table will be fashioned as an elliptical oval in a dark wood accompanied by two curved benches on the long sides and a coordinating chair at each end. The seating fabric will be presented in an off-white fabric for a lively contrast with the dark wood. To one side, a wall niche will accommodate a floating black credenza with an onyx top enhanced by back lighting and set against a metallic wall backdrop. Attractive wall sconces will add further highlights.

On the lanai, a fireplace custom-designed by Corasaniti will provide the focus for a welcoming conversation area. A 42-inch linear firebox will be encased in a wall of 12 x 24-inch gray tile with the look of silver stone. Clean-lined black wicker furniture adorned with cream, black and gold cushions will be juxtaposed against flooring pavers in an off-white shell stone. A black outdoor hand-woven lanai rug will add further contrast and texture. At the opposite end of the lanai, the outdoor kitchen will feature graphite cabinetry with contrasting granite countertops and a counter height bar. The dining furniture will include a woven table and chairs in an off-white finish. For the pool’s water line tile, Corasaniti has selected a reflective pewter metallic border for dramatic sparkle.

A hallway beyond the study leads to double doors that open to the vestibule of the glamorous master suite. Corasaniti’s cohesive plan of light and dark will continue in the charming bedroom with splashes of gold to add a layer of richness. The bed will feature a curved head and footboard with cream upholstery to offset the dark wood frame. Dark espresso-chocolate nightstands will display cream tops with dramatic silver and gold drawer pulls. The dark chocolate wooden dresser will showcase a round mirror above framed in gold. A spacious sitting area with double doors that open to a private covered lanai will accommodate two modern wing chairs upholstered in off-white and decorated with black pillows and gold grommets. On each side, delicate mirrored tables will reflect the beauty of the outdoors. A black skirted ottoman in front of the chairs will encourage quiet repose. Beautiful sheer drapes hung from black medallions will suffuse the room with breezy softness. Overhead, an architectural detail in the ceiling tray will create the look of simple beams.

The master bathroom will showcase off-white cabinetry with black granite countertops set against decadent wallpaper in soft gold with swirls of black. In the water closet, the background will be the same soft gold but without pattern. Off-white tile in the enormous shower will be accented with striking gold and graphite detailing. A free-standing tub will add crisp white elegance.
