Completely Transformed Residence at TwinEagles designed by Christie Heeb, Licensed Interior Designer

Vogue Interiors’ licensed interior designer Christie Heeb has completely transformed the interior design of a single family residence located in TwinEagles. The home’s 3,255 square feet under air floor plan includes three bedrooms, four and a half baths, his and her studies, a formal dining room, an island kitchen and dining area, an outdoor living area with dining and conversation areas, an outdoor kitchen, and a three-car garage. Christie’s transitional design style features a fresh new color palette that includes neutral pale taupe and linen backgrounds with Aegean teal and spa accents. The organic color scheme conveys a soothing feeling. The home’s large format porcelain tile flooring is a soft taupe/linen tone and set on the diagonal.

Visitors to the home step through a double-door entry into a foyer with a tall rectangular mirror set above an entry console with a stone top and lower shelf encompassed by a burnished brass frame. The mirror also features a burnished brass frame and lucite rods that provide unique accents. The foyer opens into the great room where Christie created a feature wall with a large television mounted above a stunning 110-inch long custom entertainment credenza with a multi-layered striae light taupe finish and striking large rectangular brass hardware. In keeping with the client’s love of nature and their desire to bring the outdoors in, Christie placed art pieces depicting Florida nature scenes on either side of the credenza. The pieces are done in Aegean and spa tones and feature champagne frames. Other furnishings include two sofas with a pale taupe natural textured fabric, cylinder tables in a linen tone that flank the sofas, and a pair of textured chenille fabric side chairs with taupe-toned wooden frames positioned on either side of a circular table with a light stone top and base and a pedestal with brass interlocking squares. The chairs offer an edgy nod to traditional wing chairs. Four 22-inch solid teal pillows and four 20-inch pillows with light taupe backgrounds and a creamy taupe and Aegean teal embroidered geometric pattern accent the sofas and chairs. A sofa table features a glass top that floats on a wooden taupe-toned frame includes two wooden drawers and a wooden lower shelf. The cocktail table includes a light stone top and a brass base with interlocking squares and is set upon a woven 10 by 14-foot wool area rug with a spa background and superimposed Aegean teal elements in a transitional motif.

The formal dining room includes a light taupe textured wood table with decorative brass ferrules and brass bands on the bottom apron. The host and hostess chairs, two side chairs, and a settee with Corbain Dune fabric include taupe-toned legs and Aegean teal accent pillows. Six sea fan and coral etchings hung three over three are positioned behind the settee and bring in the nature of Florida. A textured wood buffet with brass linear hardware and brass ferrules is finished in a matching tone. Two linear brass lamps with brass rods that form a cylinder and Lucite pedestal bases are set atop the buffet. A mirror above the buffet floats within a brass octagon and is secured by four brass clasps. A crystal and gold chandelier is suspended above the dining table. The furnishings play against Benjamin Moore Seastar-toned backgrounds and an area rug that compliments the woven rug in the great room.

The kitchen island base is finished in a medium taupe and topped by a quartz counter surface with a light background and a hint of taupe accent movement. The matching perimeter countertop plays against cabinetry finished in a light linen tone. Island barstools feature spa-colored woven textured fabric and a taupe-toned wood inset on the back. The legs are finished to match the inset. A circular glass top table in the breakfast area features a spa colored rattan base and spa-toned rattan chairs with open fret backs and textured taupe performance fabric seats.

Her study is located off the great room. A glass top desk features a lower pearlized white stone shelf for a keyboard and an intricate brass frame with an open geometric brass base. The desk chair is done in a contemporary floral motif fabric with a linen background and grey, spa, green, and Aegean teal accents. A lounge chair includes a lumbar pillow with fabric that matches the desk chair and an ottoman with welt and buttons done in a contrasting teal. Contemporary wall art includes a framed teal succulent floral surrounded by white three-dimensional ceramic flowers of different sizes. Like the dining room, her study includes Benjamin Moore Seastar backgrounds. The look is anchored by a six by nine-foot soft shag area rug in a linen tone.

At the back of the home, his study features a textured medium taupe wooden desk with file drawers and brass pulls, as well as a mottled linen toned leather swivel desk chair. A nautically themed art piece is hung behind the desk. An embossed reptilian look taupe leather occasional chair and ottoman are accented by burnished brass nail head trim. An eight by eleven-foot area rug is presented in soft teal, blue, grey and taupe. The space also includes a television.

A magnificent chandelier with a circular drum shade and brass encased cascading crystals offers a stunning design highlight in the master bedroom. The fully-upholstered bed features flaxen stone-toned headboard trim and feet, as well as bedding in a champagne striae and Aegean teal velvet euro shams. Nightstands flanking the bed and a dresser present a luxurious brown pearl finish with a metallic sheen and contrasting champagne gilded drawer fronts with circular pulls. Lamps on each of the nightstands are finished in a metallic champagne and include linen toned shades. A circular mirror done in weathered radiating wood with brass accents is set above the dresser. Other furnishings include a stylish bench with champagne-toned fabric at the foot of the bed, and a diamond pattern lounge chair done in a tone-on-tone linen fabric. Abstract floral art selections are presented in brass frames. An area rug features super imposed spa accents over a light linen background. In the master bath, an art piece depicting an impressionistic ocean scene is set on the wall behind a free-standing tub. The bath includes a walk-in shower.
Christie also selected new furniture for the outdoor living area. The conversation area includes a large screen television, four outdoor textured taupe woven wicker look swivel lounge chairs with performance fabric in a spa tone, spa-toned accent pillows, a fully-upholstered cocktail ottoman in an Aegean teal performance fabric, and linen and teal finished ceramic raku tables. A linear outdoor area rug presents taupe, teal, and spa tones in a diamond pattern. Three performance taupe material padded sling counter height barstools provide seating at an island bar. A slatted metal dining table is finished in a brushed taupe with outdoor woven wicker chairs. The outdoor kitchen features stainless steel cabinetry and counter surfaces flanking the grill. Padded sling chaise lounges and teal raku tables are included on the pool deck.
